My name is Daniel Freitas and I’m portuguese. I live in Porto, that it’s the second most important city of Portugal.
I decided to start collecting coins as soon as my father gave me some portuguese commemorative coins in 1980...
In 2001 I start use internet to make a few swaps and then when the Euro start to circulate in Europe I found many friends around the world and that it was a very important source to find good pieces, good friends and increase my collection.
This webpage was created with the main objective of divulge the portuguese coins after 2000 and to give the many information as possible about new issues and future issues.

Decidi começar a coleccionar moedas quando o meu pai me deu algumas moedas comemorativas portuguesas em 1980...
